Erasmus+, Youth and Staff Mobility
Summer Youth Exchange Projects supported by European Union& the British Council.
It has been set up for young people and aims to inspire a sense of active European citizenship, solidarity and tolerance among young Europeans. It promotes mobility, non-formal learning and intercultural dialogue, and encourages the inclusion of all young people, regardless of their educational, social and cultural background.
The Project has a special focus on inspiring young people to make the most of their potential through believing in and developing themselves.
Groups of young people from across the Globe work and live together in Durham City every July.
A week full of action, adventure, fun, sport but also team work and discussions about European issues.
Each of the participants is rewarded a “Youth Pass Certificate” from the European Commission.
We’ve received a Formal British Council Report of Audit of Most Education Youth Exchanges: “Auditors recommend this project as an example of good practice”. This is an equivalent of “Outstanding” in OFSTED terms! It’s Official now! Congratulations to all UK & international partners.
Also we provide Bilateral School Students’ Exchanges with Russia (Moscow & St.Petersburg), China (Tianjin & Ordos), Finland (Helsinki) and Germany (Mülheim an der Ruhr).
